A 1-to-1 take home tablet computer program commenced in 2010. All students from years 8 to 12 have a tablet device.
Tablet Distribution Evening - Year 8 (2013)
Distribution of Tablet computers will occur on the afternoon of Wednesday 30th January, 2013.
Time: 3:45pm for a 4:00pm start
Venue: Sophia Centre
Who: parent and student required to attend
Tablet personal computers demonstrable outcomes include:
- greater student engagement and independence,
- increased student collaboration,
- improved organisation of learning, and
- a greater capacity for reflective thinking.
- increased competencies in ICTs.
- focus on learning, rich possibilities.
- interaction with World Wide Web (including primary and secondary sources)
