There are many opportunities for student leadership at the College from Years 8-12. The Senior Leaders are commissioned at the Opening Eucharist Celebration at the beginning of each year.
Year 11 students are involved in a two day leadership program at the end of which they nominate and electronically vote for Year 12 leaders.
There are two College Captains and two captains in the areas of Mission, Liturgy, Academia, Culture and Sport. There are also four House Captains. Leadership is shared equally between the two captains in each area and teacher mentor support is provided to all the captains.
As well as the Student Leadership Team each year, there are leadership positions for all of the co-curricular activities at the College. Co-curricular leaders are presented with their badges at a special assembly at the beginning of each year. Co-curricular areas include sport, music, languages, dance, drama, writer’s club, debating, student council and various social justice groups.
As well as Senior Student leaders, students in the Middle School are elected as Middle School Representatives in the co-curricular areas.
