Mt St Michael's College promotes a holistic approach to education through encouraging an active participation in Co-Curricular activities.

The Co-Curricular program has a diverse range of activities in the Sporting, Cultural/Academic, and Social Justice and Community Service areas.

Aims of the Mt St Michael's Co-curricular program

  • Develop a holistic approach to the education of girls that encourages an active participation in Cultural, Community Service, Academic Learning and Sporting endeavours.
  • Encourage the development of skills in cultural, social, intellectual and physical areas.
  • Promote Peer Support with students from all year levels.
  • Promote an ethos of success through full and active participation and standards of excellence in application. The primary focus of the Co-Curricular Program is on participation, enjoyment and community building.

It is expected that staff will become actively involved in a minimum of one Co-Curricular activity that operates for one semester or equivalent time.

The Co-Curricular commitment by staff includes two sessions per week over one semester, or one session per week over the year. Co-Curricular activities for each year should be confirmed with the Co-Curricular Co-Coordinator.
