Emily Barr shortlisted for the Iwasaki Sangyo Programme

Congratulations to Emily Barr who was shortlisted for the Iwasaki Sangyo Program.This program was established in order to promote and encourage excellence in Japanese studies at secondary level for Queensland students. Successful applicants are offered a reciprocal exchange experience and receive return air travel to Japan, travel insurance, homestay accommodation and Japanese language tuition fees.

Emily, one of our Year 11 students was selected to be interviewed in Japanese and English for this prestigious exchange program to Japan. Program places are granted each year to high calibre students wanting to improve their language skills, cultural understanding and awareness.
