Enrolling your daughter at Mt St Michael's College
Mt St Michael's College is a Catholic College for girls operating within the educational philosophy of the Sisters of Charity. This philosophy recognizes the dignity of the individual and the importance of family.
Mt St Michael's College serves students from families who demonstrate a commitment to the Catholic Faith and/or Catholic Education. The College is committed to ensuring that its educational community endeavours to become a Christian community, in the tradition of the Sisters of Charity, to be principled young women with a passion for life, a commitment to justice and the courage to live out the teachings of Jesus.
In the spirit of our Mission Statement, the College is committed to providing a holistic education that supports students to pursue personal excellence in spiritual, academic social, cultural and sporting domains.
With our enrolment objective of 750 students, the College is able to promote a family atmosphere and still provide what we consider to be the optimal educational environment; that is, a middle-sized school which is small enough to foster a strong sense of community, where every girl is known and valued for herself, yet large enough to provide the educational resources that enables students to achieve excellence in a diverse curriculum that caters for the needs of all.
The College is responsive to the diverse needs of students and in keeping with the mission of the Sisters of Charity will give special consideration to the enrolment of students who are materially, socially, spiritually, physically or emotionally disadvantaged.
If your daughter has commenced Year 5 or a higher grade
A Prospectus containing an Application for Enrolment, our Mission Statement, Enrolment Policy, Fee Policy and Fee Schedule for 2008 is available on request. An Application for Enrolment should be made after your daughter commences in Year 5.

If, after reviewing our prospectus, you wish to proceed with your application to enrol your daughter, please complete the Application for Enrolment and return it to the College together with:
- a copy of your daughter's Birth Certificate
- a copy of your daughter's Baptism Certificate (if Catholic)
- copies of her most recent school reports
- $75 non-refundable Enrolment Fee.
We shall contact you to arrange a suitable interview time after this documentation has been received.
If your daughter has not yet commenced Year 5
Prior to Year 5, a brief Expression of Interest in Enrolment form should be completed which will enable us to record your interest in enrolling your daughter at the College.
When your daughter commences in Year 5, parents will then be supplied with the more formal and comprehensive Application for Enrolment to complete and asked to provide supporting documentation such as copies of birth certificate, baptism certificate, confirmation certificate and school reports.
