Meg Harris wins Gold at the Commonwealth Youth Games

Meg Harris (Year 10) has been swimming at the Commonwealth Youth Games in the Bahamas over the last couple of weeks. Young athletes from 70 nations are part of this event and it is the largest international sporting event ever hosted.

Meg won a Gold medal for Australia in the 50m freestyle with a time of 25.89. She also made the final for 50m Butterfly and the 4 x 100 Mixed Freestyle Relay. She has excelled in this meet and enjoyed the friendships that these Commonwealth games encourage. Huge congratulations to Meg!
