Nicole Westerdale attends FEAST (Future Experiences in Agriculture, Science and Technology)

During the mid-year break, Year 11 student Nicole Westerdale was selected to attend the FEAST (Future Experiences in Agriculture, Science and Technology) program at UQ Gatton. While there she took part in many laboratory sessions and hands on activities including animal anatomy and structure, health checks on horses and investigations into pollen diversity.

Students also attended a tour of UQ St Lucia where they worked with lasers to make holograms with 3D images and fly drones. During this time she made many friends and took part in social and sporting activities while living on campus for the five days.
