Simpson Prize Competition – Megghann Thomas 2016 Runner Up

Congratulations to Megghann Thomas for being the 2016 Runner Up for Queensland in the Simpson Prize Competition. This competition encourages participants to focus on the significance of Anzac Day and to consider what Anzac Day means to them and to Australia.

Megghann wrote her essay about the contributions and importance of military nurses throughout the war. She was recognised for her achievement by attending an awards ceremony in Canberra at Parliament House late last term. Well done to Megghann for ‘Being Bold and Going for Gold’ in Humanities.
