Equestrian & RIDING CLUB
The College Equestrian program caters for both the horse owner and the non-horse owner.
The Equestrian Team is part of the Queensland Inter-School Equestrian Association Inc and competes at various events. This team is restricted to horse owners who wish to compete in dressage, show jumping and showmanship.
The College Riding Club is for non-horse owners who wish to experience trail riding and learn the basics of horsemanship.
Equestrian Team
The Equestrian Team is open for all students who have horses and wish to take part in competitive classes against other schools. Students who wish to join this team will be required to pay a number of membership and joining fees (approx $130).
Riding Club
The Riding Club has been established for students who are interested in horses. Everyone is welcome, even if you have never ridden before. The activities, such as trail rides are open to students, parents and teachers who wish to take part. This club is a great opportunity to improve your riding skills. Members of the Riding Club learn how to take care of horses and make new friends. There are a range of different activities each term to sign up for. Trail rides are held by Slickers Horseriding (Dunlop Lane Kurwongba). Students will be advised of upcoming rides throughout the year.
