Year 11 Chemistry students evaluate the health of Brisbane river

The Year 11 Chemistry students had a glorious day trip in fantastic weather visiting sites along our Brisbane River. Starting from Colleges Crossing at Mt Crosby, students had to collect water and test for various parameters. After visiting sites at Moggill and the Story Bridge, we ended at Hamilton. By this time, students were a well-rehearsed team and proficient in the testing procedures. At school further testing continued and students will now use their results in a report that evaluates the Health of the Brisbane River.
