Year 11 Geography students had a fantastic camp last week, exploring the Numinbah Valley in the Gold Coast hinterland. It was wonderful to get out of the classroom and apply what we had been learning about to the Nerang River Catchment. We tested the water quality from the Source of the Nerang River to the Mouth, investigating the impact humans have on the water and catchment. Students will now transfer their data collection to the creation of a Field Report, investigating management strategies in the area.
