Year 12 students are hard at work investigating factors that affect the stability of different compounds as part of their Redox Chemistry unit. Students are using titration to quantitatively measure concentrations. Vitamin C, a necessary vitamin as it is a potent anti-oxidant, and bleach as its active ingredient is a powerful oxidising agent that kills organisms and decolourises stains, are popular in this study. Students are rapidly increasing their proficiency and skills with this method.
