On Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th May the Year 8 students spent the day at Bunyaville Conservation Park. They were collecting data relating to their current unit of study “Landscapes and Landforms”. Our students were actively involved in field sketching, taking measurements such as humidity, altitude, temperature, light intensity, soil moisture and pH, looking at human impacts on the park, and checking the health of waterways by searching and identifying macro-invertebrates. The students had a really enjoyable time learning all about the natural surroundings.
