Congratulations to Year 12 Visual Art Student, Caitlin Turner who has been named as one of the Finalists for her stunning series of watercolour drawings ‘Levels of Luminosity’.
Each year MSM student drawings of a very high standard are entered into The Marie Ellis OAM Prize for Drawing. This competition aims to encourage excellence in drawing as an important foundation for any arts practice.
Up to 25 Finalists are selected, Australia wide, from a field of artists ranging from students to professionals, by an esteemed judging panel and their works exhibited at The Project Gallery, Queensland College of Art at Southbank from August 2 -16, 2019.
Major Prize winners will be announced at the Opening Night of the exhibition. The People's Choice award, determined by visitor vote, will be announced at the closing party for the exhibition. All are welcome to visit and support this wonderful exhibition.
