Our Foundation

Established in 1986 to assist with College expansion and upgrades

Under the Stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries, Mt St Michael’s College Foundation is an invaluable community partner whose philanthropic efforts enhance the College, change lives and allow students to benefit from the charitable contributions, sacrifices and efforts of those families and community members who have preceded them.

Mt St Michael’s College is registered as a deductible gift recipient (DGR) with the Australian Tax Office. Donations to both the Mt St Michael’s College Building Fund and the Mt St Michael’s College Scholarship Fund are tax deductible.

Through the generosity of the College community, the Foundation has contributed to the College with grants from the Building Fund, to projects such as the Sophia Centre development; the upgrading of the Learning Enrichment Centre; a continuing air conditioning program throughout the College; upgrading College surrounds including the Convent Lawn with the new Rotunda, seating, pathways and staff amenities.

The Foundation’s operations will include fundraising activities centred on the Annual Giving Appeal and donations to the College building funds each term. The successful Father-Daughter Breakfast, initiated in 2007, has become an annual event organised by the Foundation.

Our students continue to benefit from the sacrifices and efforts of those families who have preceded them and the College thanks all the generous donors who have and will, support the Foundation in its ongoing activities.

Dr Sarah Pollock is Chairman of the Foundation and has expressed her confidence that your support will allow the Foundation to continue to grow and continue its support for the College Building Program in our efforts to progress the cause of Christian Education.
