Our mission is to foster the continued unity between all alumni through ‘Faith and Love’. We also advance Mt St Michael’s College by engaging and connecting alumni through purposeful programs, services and events.
Mt St Michael’s College was founded by women of faith in response to a need; that young women should have the opportunity for an education which would enable them to pursue the ideals of “Faith and Love” in their personal lives through a study of the traditions and teachings of the Gospels and of classical and contemporary fields of learning.
Since 1925, thousands of girls have received their education at Mt St Michael's College. Our College history is a rich tapestry and our graduates have embarked on successful careers spanning all sectors. Our alumni are invited to maintain their attachment to the College via our Alumni Association - Mt St Michael’s College Alumni Inc.
The association actively:
- promotes ties with the Sisters of Charity and with the College Mission
- assists with reunions, to link alumni with their graduating class
- publishes a regular newsletter
- supports College initiatives and events
Each year, we are proud to donate a half-bursary for the education of a student.
We also provide donations to those alumni who wish to continue the work of Mary Aikenhead by volunteering at home, or abroad, to assist those in need. To find out more about the Alumni Volunteers Fund, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Mt St Michael’s College Alumni Inc. is an incorporated body governed by the Rules of our Association (Click here to download PDF).
We invite new members to the Mt St Michael's College Alumni Inc. Committee and encourage all alumni to become involved in the life of the College.
