The Co-curricular Arts program at MSM is extensive and inclusive, that cover the curriculum areas, Art, Music, Drama and Dance.

Why The Arts at MSM?

At MSM we believe a student grows in confidence when they learn to trust others and take measured risks to develop performance skills in a safe environment. In addition to developing student wellbeing, the Arts activities provide opportunities to represent the College in competitions, to perform in front of an audience or have artworks displayed for viewing by the community. Friendships formed in these groups not only last throughout the College life of a student but are lifelong. 

There are ensembles in Music and Dance which require regular attendance and sometimes auditioning, as well as Clubs which survive with a less rigorous commitment.

Music lessons can be taken privately at the College which is a good way to improve skills, performance and the discipline of learning that will be necessary as a focus in the Middle and Senior School. 

Your daughters are encouraged to be involved in at least one Arts activity during their schooling at MSM.
